The Poor Girl’s Guide to College and More – My name is Marni, I’m a Los Angeles 20-something and a child of the Neo-Depression with the incredibly dark sense of  humor and know-how to navigate today’s breadlines with a laissez-fare attitude. It’s the 1930s all over again, girls –- except, you know, alcohol is legal and now we have iPads. Recession, Depression. Tomato, Tom-mah-to. Let’s face it, life and college are hard enough but when you don’t have any funds to live let alone enjoy yourself, both become pretty unbearable.  As a child rocked by the Neo-Depression and recent college grad, I know the feeling oh-too-well. But there is hope; Stick with me, kids, and I’ll  help make sure you’ve got the nicest Hooverville on the block.
